Brief history of the school
Chiao Nan Chinese Primary School 1917-2021
In 1917, the Qiongzhou Association established
a night school in Xie Street, Kuala Lumpur,
with only 50 students, mainly to absorb drop-out
students and those who were educated in English.
In 1918, the school moved to Qiongzhou Guild Hall
on Sudan Street. In 1956, Qiaonan Chinese Primary
School officially moved from Sultan Street to the
current school site on Pahang Road.
